Bush – acclimated to WAR!

Son,

President Bush is scaring me. He had a news conference today and he said, “If you are interested in preventing World War III then you should be interested in Iran not having nuclear weapons.” He has said, “We’ve got a leader in Iran that says he wants to destroy Israel.”

Is a threat against Israel a threat against the United States? I guess some people think of Israel as the 51st State. The only difference is that we pay them money rather than collect taxes.

We should probably be grateful that Putin in Russia has taken a position – it will hopefully slow the President down. One of the commentators on MSNBC just asked, “Did the President get a new pair of cowboy boots?” This is a clear reference to the Cowboy Diplomacy of this Administration.

Talking about World War III is an act of desperation by a President. The President of Iran, Ohmydidhesayjihad, is a dangerous man. He is in charge of a dangerous and powerful bunch of religious radicals. They have a powerful military and I believe they are working on having a nuclear bomb. That is a really bad mix – radicals and bombs.

This is one of those times in history when a country (us) wishes we had been more respectful of the rest of the world. We have allies who would not mind someone poking a stick in our eye – that is the way with bullies. Even their friends don’t like them very much.

When the bully is threatened his first reaction is to bluster, to strut, to swagger around the playground talking, shooting off his mouth – threatening. It is as if the last kid he beat up was a social dropout who no one liked anyway and he relishes the heroic spotlight.

The attention of War has emboldened President Bush. He is used to having military deaths reported every day. The tough guy image suits him. He has lost his human bearing. He has become acclimated to War. That is a really dangerous person.

It is time for the swaggering bully to go.

Dad

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. Albert Einstein …

  1. Alfred E. Newman as a swaggering bully is not what the USA needs.
