George Wallace Tie – 1968

Son,

As I said before, I collect political campaign paraphernalia. Some people have asked to see a picture of my George Wallace tie from the 1968 Presidential election. Here is the tie with a 1988 campaign button for Jesse Jackson. I had to attach them because of the striking contrast.

Wallace 86?

What do you suppose this tie is worth?  The tie is not for sale.

This tie was noted in: Racism in Politics, 1903, 1968, 1988, and 2008
