Havasu Falls, Before and After Flood Videos

This writer completed the Havasu hike about twenty years ago.  The hike begins at the top rim of the Grand Canyon and proceeds down eleven miles to Supai Village.  Then another mile hike to the Havasu Falls (A 100 foot water fall), and another mile to Mooney falls (a 300 foot water fall).  The trail to the Havasu Falls skirts ther perimeter of the falls.

Following are two videos. They are roughly from the same location.  The first is filmed in normal conditions – the second shows the devastation of the 2008 flood.  This writer believes that an understanding of the flood is only relevant when compared to the normal conditions.
