He is right on – it is time to get our economy back on track.

This is really not rocket science – without speed limits people speed recklessly through our neighborhoods.  Without Law (regulations) people will do just about anything.  If this is about faith the try this “Trust God, but lock your car.”

Did McCain and Bush honestly believe they could remove the reigns from investment banking and everything would be fine?

    Deregulation was championed by Reagan as well. He was one of the few Presidents who had a high approval rating according to Gallup Polls and maintained a decent rating throughout his Presidency. This is in comparison to Presidents who had a higher rating to begin but fell to substandard ratings during and to the end of their administrations.
