Agreed, very nice article. Straight talk about Sen. McCain's character and judgment. An analysis one would expect from the best of the MSM, but it never comes...

Reminds us foreigners that there are still some people thinking straight in the US, even from within a very difficult situation.

Thank you for that

This was very well written, kudos to the writer. This is how I see this situation. We (America) have been pillar of hope for almost the entire world. We defend the helpless, whether it be peacekeeping, food, financial, medical or military support. There is probably no better doctrine than Democracy. I believe America is at its wits end. We no longer give help because it is the right thing to do, we give help because it is expected of us, and when we don't we are "ugly Americans". Like Senator McCain said, "we will stop giving money to those countries who don't like us very much". America is just sick to death of helping others while our own people suffer. Senator McCain a bully? I can see it thought that way. Didn't Former President Truman use military muscle to help bring and end to the war? Any amount of casualties from war in Iraq just plain sucks, but no one was drafted. Every one in the military volunteered and some even had to have parental consent. We are sick of being used and pushed, time to push back.
