The Cat-Fighting Congress

What madness.  Congress is in the process of grilling the Oil Executives on the catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico.  The Oil Executives are clearly blaming the other guy.   No surprise there.  But the astounding quality of these hearings is the hypocritical Congress pointing out the blame game being played by the Oil Industry.

Check out the Oil Execs blaming the others:

There is no one on this planet who is more adept at blaming others than the members of the United States Congress.  The Democrats say the Gulf disaster is the result of Republicans minimizing regulations.  The Republicans say the problem was caused by bureaucratic regulations by Democrats.  These folks have not taken credit for anything since the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence.

Listen to John Boehner talk about Democratic ideas:

Personally, I prefer something non-partisan – like the following video:

Don’t these politicians sort of sound like the old ladies in The Music Man?

  1. Speaking of the blame game, now GOP Head Steel is blaming the Afghan war on Obama. The GOP, Americas strongest party has been reduced to rubble. I am a staunch conservative but this is ridiculous, even Senator McCain called Steele’s comments “wildly inaccurate” and inexcusable and furthermore called Steele out on his future as the Head of the GOP. Glad to see the Old McCain coming out again.
