This is innovation. This is my virtual straw that breaks my virtual camel’s back. I am on my way to the land of the Mac enthusiast, and the chances are that I wills see you there someday. Maybe not now. But someday.

Wicked: A marriage of literature, art, and music

We marvel att the marriage of art and technology and the ingenuity of those who can master that integration.  Steve Jobs and his folks at Apple are prime examples.  In the same vein, there is a marriage of literature, art, and culture that can culminate in the same kind of experience.  Probably the best example […]

1984 Steve Jobs video introducing Macintosh

Son, Steve Jobs is a remarkable man.  He introduced the Macintosh in 1984, replacing the Apple II.  The progress has been steady and relevant.  Jobs dropped the word ‘computer’ fro the Apple brand because the line of products surpassed what most people think of in computers.  Here is a cool video. Mac Air – limitations of I/O, where are the peripherals?

Son, The world of computing is reaching some human limits. My fingers cannot get smaller, my eyeballs cannot see smaller, I cannot speak with more clarity. The limitations of technology are the limitations of human interaction with technology. Steve Jobs has introduced a very thin laptop – I think he called it the Mac Air. […]

The Mac Is Hitting a Stride With Record Sales

Trash Talk – the elixir of life

Son, Trash talk is the elixir of life, the stimulus of humanity, the foreplay of debate, a ceremonial dance before the big event.  Trash Talk is the spirit of politics, sports, scientific innovation, and even religion.  Minus Trash Talk, nothing is left. Did you ever notice two boxers at their weigh-in.  One might think it […]

Apple Computer and the real world

Son, I watch television and movies and commercials – all the nonsense stuff that entertains me and distracts me from the seriousness of life. One of the things I note is the use of computers and the clever promotion of Apple. All of the movies have laptops that can access any information that might conceivable […]

Apple Inc. – Highway Reststop

Son, Steve Jobs, inventor, entrepreneur, corporate mogul, marketing wizard, philanthropist – what has he done? Apple Computer has created a stop along the highway, a place where weary travelers in the daily journey through technology can stop in and refresh themselves. This is an old story. The human relationship with technology is the outward manifestation […]
