A Sense of Hope, A Sense of Destiny…. Kennedy
Son,
Inspiring events are happening in America. Civil Rights, Social Justice, workers, disabled, education, voters rights, quality Health Care, Senator Edward Kennedy. There is a movement afoot, and the Republicans will not be able to stop it.
Senator Kennedy is endorsing Mr. Obama as I write and I can barely keep up.
“…Courage, insight, bold understanding, power of words, appeals to the hope of those who still believe in the American Dream, who can lift our spirit and make us dream again. Change is in the air…”
“I’ll support the candidate who inspires me and inspire hope… that reminds us that our country’s best days are to come… I have found that candidate and I believe you have too… ”
He is a leader without being cynical, he is a fighter without demonizing others… I offer my support, and my energy to make Barack Obama the next President of the United States… I have marveled at his grit and his grace… Tireless skill of a Senator who always saw a way to protect National Security and the dignity of those who did not have the right to vote… A different kind of campaign – not just about himself but about all of us… a campaign about the country we can become… rising above old politics… Inspired young people… The hopeful face of America… I see this in Barack Obama… I see the possibility of hope for the America that is yet to be… What counts is not the years in Washington but the reach of our vision… With Barack Obama we will turn the page on the old politics of race against race, gender against gender… we will close the door on the old politics that closes the door on the poor and middle class… We will break the old gridlock on Health Care… We will make the United States the great leader and not the great roadblock on the fight against Global Warming… We must replace the politics of fear with the politics of hope…”
“Barack Obama is the one person who can be that change… I know what American can be… With Barack Obama we can do it again…”
“And I know that Barack Obama is ready to be President on day one… ”
I can only add that I am proud of you for participating in the Iowa caucus on behalf of Obama.
