I am happy that these folks take these issues seriously.  Sometimes they sound like they are spinning the issue in their favor –  but I believe that they are not.  They are pointing out the necessary complications of making rash political decisions.  Wolf Blitzer asked the question because he knows it is a hot button issue.  Blitzer knows that most people have not thought this through – like Senator Gravel.

Establishing laws governing the language we speak has ramifications and should be done thoughtfully with a full understanding of the consequences.
